⭐ Rated 9,8+ by guests – your perfect Kruger adventure!
We have used it as a holiday home since 2004 (maximum 3 months at a time) and also rented it out to Dutch, Belgian, and South Africans. Read the experiences of our guests since 2004. We have a lovely, reliable caretaker who welcomes our guests and is available during their stay.
A reaction from our guests:
"First of all, thank you so much for the hospitality! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!! 🥰 Truly beyond all expectations! From the beautiful excursions, Kruger, Swaziland, Panorama Route… etc.. And the animals around the house!!❤️ Very special and unforgettable.🤗 We brought books with us and we didn't even get around to reading them. We are going to miss it, especially the faithful eyes of these every day…. The house… everything is complete, a nice pool to cool off in, really great value for money!!! 👍🏻 South Africa surprised us in a very positive way! Thank you for all the info."

Marlot Park is a village like any village with municipal taxes.
Fixed costs: insurance, electricity, water, gas, caretaking (for rentals), cleaning, security. You can live permanently in Marloth Park. If you are coming from outside South Africa, you may stay for a maximum of 3 months on a tourist visa.
Security
The village is rated as very safe compared to other places in South Africa.
Our 'street' (dirt road) is very quiet and safe. Nevertheless, we have a contract with Field Security and the house is monitored 24/7, even when we are absent. If you are in or around the house, you can use an alarm button and security guards will be on site within 5 minutes. This has never been necessary before. The statistics are available upon request.

How did it start?
In 2002, we came into contact with the Van Niekerk family. They have lived in South Africa since 1950. We rented their holiday home in Marloth Park for two weeks. It was an incredible experience: wild animals walking and eating in your own garden. Giraffes, zebras, warthogs, kudu, impalas, monkeys, and more. In addition, Kruger Park is in "the backyard," and you live close to Mozambique and Swaziland! That combination makes it a unique place. We decided to buy a holiday home in Marloth Park. In 2004, the time had come. Holiday home Mhofu was purchased in 2003, and the final transfer took place in July 2004. Since then, we have enjoyed our house, the animals, Kruger Park, all the trips in fantastic South Africa, and all the surrounding countries so much in every year following the purchase.
